Wapiti Labs Founder Craig Wylie, a veteran, has always been fascinated by the beauty and majesty of elk and the idea of raising them. In 2000 he bought a “retired” 320-acre dairy farm in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota and created Wolf Creek Elk Ranch.
Today, Craig’s son, Klint manages the herd of 200+ elk and all Wolf Creek Elk Ranch operations. He lives on-site with his wife, Lora, and their daughters. Craig lives just down the road, where he raises high-quality hay for the elk.
From the very beginning, Craig selected elk with the best genetics. Since then, the elk have produced the healthiest stock. All of our elk are born on Wolf Creek Elk Ranch. They graze in a natural, pollution-free environment with plenty of room to roam. Ample grazing land to reduce and minimize stress on the herd.
Each animal is certified by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health and registered with the North American Elk Breeders Association. To ensure proper health and nutrition, we do not use GMO corn. A registered veterinarian and a certified nutritionist conduct routine herd checks. They have certified Wolf Creek Elk Ranch free of chronic wasting disease and tuberculosis.
Because Wolf Creek Elk Ranch produces Elk Velvet Antler (EVA) and hard antler exclusively for Wapiti Labs Inc., our elk must be as healthy as possible. Wapiti Labs, a Veteran with Disabilities owned company, manufacturers natural nutritional supplements for both people and their pets.
Wapiti Labs’ supplements can aid with the following:
The original Elk Velvet Antler Company. Our premium supplements are created with pure Minnesota Elk Velvet Antler and herbs using a proprietary extraction process.
